Salary Range: USD$147,800 - USD$204,000 - Final offer amount depends on multiple factors such as candidates experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data.

This position reports to the Chief Impact Officer, supervises a global fundraising leadership team with 4 direct reports to drive CDP and grow CDP development revenues globally in support of its mission to create a thriving economy that works for people and planet in the long term.
Who you are
- Eligible to work in one of CDP's regions/nations: Canada, Brazil, China, Europe, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, United Kingdom, or the United States.
- Experience leading large, global, diverse & distributed teams - developing strong collaborative, accessible and inclusive working relationships to succeed together.
- A track record of working in NGOs and/or commercial organisations and working in close collaboration with senior leaders.
- Experience in managing multifunctional fundraising teams.
- Experience in senior hiring – to support CDP’s strategic pivot to Asia (demonstrable APAC experience is a positive).
- Proven ability to secure six and seven figure grants, and to build and manage philanthropic and government donor income streams, maximising the value of existing and prospective supporters.
- Confidence in working with senior stakeholders internally and externally, using tact and diplomacy, and knowing when to challenge appropriately.
- Excellent face-to-face, interpersonal, negotiating and persuasive skills.
- History of applying functional knowledge and existing methodologies to creatively solving complex problems.
- Previous accountability for financial performance of a global function.
- History of modeling CDP’s values of transparency, succeeding together, learning & improving and accountability.
Your day-to-day
- Lead a global development team of c.24 FTEs.
- Develop and lead the implementation of CDP’s global fund-raising strategy and targets.
- Deliver multi-year income targets, setting ambition and growth trajectory for fundraising income.
- Liaise with commercial team for commercial fund raise and special bids.
- Drive and foster funder relationships.
- Raise the profile of CDP with government and philanthropic funders.
- Collaborate with the leaders of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (“MEL”) and Thought Leadership to build a culture of impact measurement and reporting.
- Participate in cross organizational working groups.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations between Fundraising, Finance, Project Management and other relevant teams (e.g. Legal and Compliance) to support excellent grant management and funder relationships.
